As a vice president of aircraft sales for corporate giant McDonald Douglas (now Boeing), Charlie Ahern traveled all over the world. In 1989, when he set his foot on the Crown Island Coronado, he knew this is where he wanted to be. Charlie currently practices real estate with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties and has been active in Crown Island real estate since 1998.
"My clients appreciate my hard work, expertise, honesty, integrity and years of sales and marketing experiences," said Charlie Ahern, who had a long and successful career at Boeing. He earned an Executive MBA degree from the Peter F. Drucker School at Claremont Graduate University.
"There is no better place to live than Coronado," says Charlie, who is a Certified Residential Specialist and Senior Real Estate Specialist. Charlie has served as a member of Coronado Chamber of Commerce, Coronado Hospital Foundation, Coronado Historical Association, Coronado Floral Association and the Crown Club. In addition, he's a lifetime member of Coronado School Foundation. Charlie is past President of Coronado Optimist Club 2013 and Lay Director of St. Paul's United Methodist Church of Coronado. He was Coronado Realtor of the Year 2006, and is a chairperson for St. Paul's United Methodist Church Membership Committee.
Charlie spends his spare time raising his daughter Angela, ballroom dancing and entertaining friends. Angela formerly attended Coronado High School, practicing musical theater and drama. Currently, she is a top student at Boston University. She is also part of the Navy ROTC program.
