Patrick Cairncross with Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices California Properties is a third generation San Diego real estate agent with ten years of full-time experience. He specializes in La Jolla, Pacific Beach, Mission Beach, and the surrounding neighborhoods that dot San Diego County's interconnected coastal markets.
After graduating from University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree, Patrick began his real estate career in New York City as a licensed agent with The Corcoran Group in Lower Manhattan, where he was mentored for two years by some of the city's top brokers selling and leasing luxury condos, co-ops, and townhomes. Patrick returned home to San Diego in 2015 to partner with his father, Steve Cairncross, a top coastal realtor with over forty years of full-time experience. For the past several years, Team Cairncross has ranked #1 at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices and top 5 by The San Diego Business Journal for number of homes sold in San Diego County annually by a Small Team (5 agents or less).
Patrick portfolio includes a dynamic range of sales from fixers, to the highest end of coastal properties, and many new developments. He is a member of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices' New Homes Division and has worked with his team to launch and manage the debut sales of some of San Diego's premier developments in recent years including One Neptune and Altair, two luxury condominium buildings on the waterfront in La Jolla, Heritage on Ivanhoe, a collection of fourteen new homes in The Village of La Jolla, Atelier, a twelve-home development in Hillcrest, The Pacific View Townhomes, a ten-home development on the waterfront in Carlsbad, and Mahalo, a twelve-home development near the waterfront in South Oceanside.
Patrick married his high school sweetheart, and they have two bilingual French-American children ages two and four. When he's not showing properties, Patrick can often be found surfing in Pacific Beach or La Jolla, jogging on the boardwalk, or playing drums with other local musicians.
