Susan Dishell is a consummate real estate sale professional. Based in the Brentwood office of Berkshire Hathaway, she has been selling real estate in Los Angeles' exclusive Westside for the past sixteen years. Her unique and specific sales background in the field of fine art proved to be extraordinary training for a natural segue into residential real estate.
Susan has continually applied that training and exceptional sales ability to her real estate career. Susan has consistently ranked within the top 2-3% of the organization which encompasses over 1,900 real estate offices and more than 62,000 sales professionals. Susan has established a wonderful reputation for professionalism and performance among both her colleagues and clients. Last year, Susan once again reached the sales goal of top 2% nationally and was honored with the Chairman Circle Gold award, and she expects to be similarly awarded this year.
The fine art field, where Susan specialized for nineteen years in the sale of impressionism, post-impressionism, modern and contemporary master works, is a very distinguished and exclusive arena. Susan's experience there helped her to develop a strong aesthetic sense, and refined her abilities in astute dealings and subtle negotiations with the most discerning clientele.
In recent years, Susan has been focusing attention on exceptional residences. She recently sold a contemporary view home in Beverly Hills for the full list price of $4,900,000, for a seller with whom she has completed five transactions. This was followed by the sale of two architectural properties in Pacific Palisades, one on Vista Grande for $8,350,000, and one on Akron Street. Most recently Susan sold a published noted historic landmark home on Mountain Oak for $3,000,000 and a Contemporary Spanish home with views on 23rd Helena in Brentwood for $3,850,000.
Susan sold an extraordinary architectural property listed at 1401 San Remo Drive, in the Pacific Palisades for $16,400,000. In all of these cases, as well as a considerable portion of her overall completed transactions, her clients were sophisticated real estate investors who understand the advantage of having an intermediary to properly represent their interests, notwithstanding that they are more than capable of representing themselves.
Susan's commitment to her clients has awarded her with continual repeat clientele. Her strength is in her strong aesthetic sense and outstanding innate sales ability. Susan graduated from Michigan State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree. She attended the University of Michigan for two years, where she majored in Language, Science and Arts and studied abroad as an exchange student for one year at University of Surrey, England.
She currently resides in Santa Monica, California.
